Nasty Savage is an American heavy/thrash metal band from Brandon, Florida, formed in 1983 around vocalist “Nasty” Ronnie Galletti. Known for their raw, technically driven sound and outrageous live performances, the band quickly became a cult name in the emerging Florida metal scene.
After their 1984 demo Wage of Mayhem, Nasty Savage signed with Metal Blade Records and released three influential albums: Nasty Savage (1985), Indulgence (1987), and Penetration Point (1989).
Their aggressive and unconventional style helped establish the early Florida thrash scene and influenced the developing death metal movement around Tampa.
Following their initial breakup in the early 1990s, the band went through several reunions and lineup changes.
They returned with Psycho in 2004 and have remained active since 2016.
In 2024, Nasty Savage released Jeopardy Room, their latest studio album.
